WHAT IS THE HEROES PROJECT?

HEROES is a strength-based character development program that builds resiliency in youth at the Jr. and Sr. High level. It focuses on building confidence, character and integrity to equip teens to lead a life of holistic success. By providing a role model that helps them uncover their natural strengths and inspires hope and meaning, youth begin to come alive and respond to life’s challenges with greater resiliency. In discovering the value of living with character and integrity, youth build strong foundations for personal success and for helping those around them succeed. Students become “Heroes” to others in their schools, workplaces and communities, creating a ripple effect that will ultimately transform organizations and communities.

HEROES is taught in twelve to fourteen one-hour sessions in a school or community setting. HEROES has been credited with helping over 30,000 youth increase their personal resiliency and develop healthy behaviors.
